Eyestalk PlantEyestalk plants are magical plants created by wizards and druids that have eyeballs on the end of green vines and thorny leaves. The vines move around and the eyes move to stare and anything passing by. The eyes of the plant are always magically connected to a distant pool of water (which may be in a basin). This pool of water acts as a scrying device, giving a view through the eyes of the eyestalk plant.

Pot ManPotman is an animated metal planter of medium or large size. Medium versions of potman stand about four feet tall, large versions are about six feet tall. Potman often has some sort of dangerous or magical plant growing out of the pot. Potman has the stats of a medium or large animated object, except that his speed has been enhanced with a permanent haste spell (70feet). Also, potman has a hardness of 10. Sometimes some object, such as a key, will be hidden within potman's soil. Potman will attempt to evade PCs or attack them when cornered.

Skull-stone TombsSkull-stone Tomb
Skull-stone tombs are large stone skulls (approximately twenty feet in diameter and twenty feet tall). The skull tomb is hollow and contains a roughly spherical chamber inside. The eye sockets, nose orifice and jaws form openings into the interior of the skull tomb. Inside there is a permanent darkness spell (DC 20 to dispel). The skull tombs hold 1d4 stone sarcophagi. The sarcophagi are each marked with an etched name on the lid in ancient Quenesti, indicating the person interned within the coffin. They are always epic sounding names such as "Tollukar

This is a ten foot tall, five foot wide pillar of rough light gray, stone partly buried in the floor or ground. It is covered in runes of goodness. The area within twenty feet of the stone is noticeably comfortable and warm and the stone itself is covered in light moss and small white flowers. The monolith emanates positive energy in a radius of twenty feet which acts as a Bless spell (DC20 to dispel for one round). Anti Magic Rock of Mist WorldAnti-Magic Rock
This is a naturally occurring type of hard rock in Mist World. It is dark gray granite that produces a field of anti-magic. Within caves and caverns of anti-magic stone, no magic functions anywhere. The anti-magic properties of the stone are weak and only function in areas with tons of rock, like caves and mountains of it. Of course, in caves of anti-magic rock, there are no magic mists! This is one of the few areas of Mist World free of magic mists and mist effects at all times.

This is a charcoal drawing done by my wife Shel many years ago. I like it. The scanned in digitized version has been "fixed" slightly. It has had some rough treatment over the years. She says it is based upon a picture she once saw in the Planetary Society magazine.

She is far more talented than I am. I draw a lot more, but she is so good at drawing and painting! She has talent but doesn't consider herself an artist. I think she is a very versatile, creative and talented artist.
