The Poking Ghost StorySometimes a strong imagination is a curse. I have very vivid dreams and nightmares.
When I was in the navy, I had a nightmare one night that a ghostly presence attacked me in my bed. I could feel these cold hands grabbing me. I awoke screaming it seemed so real.
For weeks afterward I could not go to sleep easily. I could feel the ghost creeping up on me. I tried to ignore it and tell myself it was just a dream and my imagination to no avail. I would start to drop off and feel the ghost poke me. I would wake with a start and thrash about.
When I finally gave it a name, "The Poking Ghost," and told my friends about it, they suggested ignoring it and it would get bored and move on. So I tried that. When I got poked, I ignored it. Eventually, the poking slowly ebbed and became more and more infrequent. Eventually it all but disappeared.
However, I still get visited by the poking ghost every so oft
Escapism via Day Dream Hypnosis:iconmelianofmist: NOTE: These are descriptions of how and why I exist for :iconmistgod:. They describe me as an alternate semi-independent persona in Mistgod's mind. This does not mean he is crazy or having mental issues of any kind. Please don't misinterpret what you might read here and in the comments by other deviants. Mistgod is very well adjusted and happy. He just happens to be very imaginative and creative in having me in his mind. Please enjoy the stories, but have an open mind and don't jump to conclusions.
The following story is by :iconMistgod:
All my life I have dealt with anxiety problems. I developed my own personal coping skill. I call it Day Dream Hypnosis. Here is how it works.
In order to deal with stress and anxiety, loneliness or boredom, I can escape from reality, cutting off the outside world. I sort of escape into a make believe imaginary world for hours. I have used this as a way to cope with
Mana Berry Vine
Found here and there in Mist World, mana berry vines are long spiraling vines that grow mana berries. Many berries are blue glowing berries about the size of a blueberry. When consumed, a ripe mana berry will boost a spellcaster's spell power. One average sized mana berry vine will contain 2d6 ripe mana berries. Mana berry vines are very expensive and difficult to grow. At market a batch of six mana berries costs 25 gold pieces. High quality mana berries have higher potency but cost twice as much!
One mana berry = +1 caster level for 2d6 rounds.
One high quality mana berry = +1d4 caster levels for 2d6 rounds.
Mana berries can be stored in a small jar, bag or flask for up to a year before losing their potency.
The Butterfly WandThe Butterfly Wand
It is a wand of fly with a quirk. The wand itself has illusionary butterfly wings on its tip that are constantly fluttering (pretty!). When a wizard uses the wand on someone, that person gains fly spell AND this really pretty illusion of butterfly wings! The wings flutter as the recipient of the magic flies about while the spell lasts. In addition, the flier leaves a trail of pretty butterflies in his or her wake.
Mystics of the Cycle
Within the realm of Sanctuarium, there are female sorcerer mystics known as Mystics of the Cycle. It is not just a character class, but also a pseudo race as the female mystics of this order are born with inherited innate magical talent. Members do not join, they are born into the order. They are martial artist monks and also powerful elemental sorcerers. They all have incredible beauty and seemingly eternal youth and are virtually immortal (immune to aging effects). They have powerful charisma and the ability to charm and enchant male humans. They mate with selected males once they have completely dominated them mentally. The captured (or "smitten") men become well treated husband-slaves.
Mystics of the Cycle have a mission to detect breaches in the borders of Sanctuarium and any appearance of chaotic magic mists within the realm. They also guard against monster invasions. They can detect disturbances in the cycle of magic that indicates a break in the borders.
Magic Maelstrom Chamber
Magic Maelstrom Chamber
This is a sixty foot wide cylindrical chamber with a twenty foot high ceiling. The walls are made of cut blocks of dark stone. At least two doorways open into this chamber, but there could be more. There is no floor in the chamber. Instead, just a few feet below the entrances there is a wall to wall maelstrom (whirlpool) of dark water. There is a thunderous sound of rushing water and a wet spray from the churning waves.
Near the ceiling of the chamber, on the wall to one side, is a ten foot wide, five foot high arched opening. From this opening a waterfall cascades into the whirlpool below. Along the walls between the doorways leading into the room is a very narrow stone walkway (only two feet wide). The walkway is wet from the spray of splashing waves.
Attempting to cross the room on foot from one doorway to another, by traversing the narrow stone walkway, is very treacherous. To do so successfully r
Battle of the Bones ChamberBattle of the Bones Chamber
This is a fifty foot wide square chamber with a twenty foot high ceiling. Every twenty square feet stands a five foot wide stone pillar (one in each corner and one exactly in the middle. The walls are made of cut blocks of dark stone. The floor is dark gray flagstone. Low lying mist swirls about the floor. The floor of this chamber is covered in heaps of skulls and bones (various sizes and races), broken armor and mundane weapons. There are so many broken skeletons that one can only move across the floor at half speed. In each corner of the chamber is stone block holding a large iron brazier with everburning fire.
There are at least two entrances into the chamber, maybe more. In one wall is an alcove or niche behind a set of iron bars. In the niche is a skeleton with a gong. The skeleton is animated and when it perceives any living creature entering the room it will begin pounding the gong.
Golfo's Dweller at The Crossroads ChamberGolfo’s Dweller at The Crossroads Chamber
This is a fifty foot wide square chamber with a twenty foot high vaulted ceiling. The walls are made of cut blocks of dark stone. The floor is dark gray flagstone. There are four entrance/exits (strong wooden doors) to the chamber, one in each wall. A twenty foot square red carpet lies in the center of the floor. Upon the carpet stands a wooden table holding two huge burning candles and three musical instruments: a hand drum, a lute and a lyre. Below the table is a large wooden chest. Standing behind the table is a very tall humanoid figure in a long flowing purple robe with a deep hood. The robe is trimmed with silver embroidery and many little silver bells. The figure does not move as the PCs enter the chamber. Note: No matter which door the PCs first enter the room from, the dweller is always encountered facing them, standing behind the table, when they first enter the room.

Mirror Portal with Candle Key Mirror Portal with Candle Key
This is a large mirror, either free standing or mounted on a wall. The mirror is a magic portal that is activated only by a person holding a specific burning candle. The person holding the candle and any creature or person touching him or her will be able to walk through the portal. Only the one specific candle will activate the portal when lit and held. The portal leads to another identical mirror portal in another chamber. If either mirror is broken, the magic will no longer function. If the lit candle key is not within five feet of the mirror, the mirror portal is inert and will not function, seeming in every way to be an ordinary mirror. A detect magic will detect transmutation magic on the mirror even if it is not activated by the candle key. Another version of this mirror may require a PC to wear a specific type of robe while holding the candle key, or even chant a specific chant while wearing the robe
The Fantastic Four No MoreFour Freedoms Plaza
Susan Storm Richards awoke from her sleep at 8 in the morning, and looked at the empty bed beside her. As had happened on more mornings than she cared to count, her husband was no longer beside her. Sue muttered almost glumly, "Well, as usual, Reed is off in his lab. Sometimes I wonder just who he is married to, the lab, or me!"
Before she could collect her thoughts any further, or call to check on Reed, Sue heard the robotic receptionist Roberta calling her. "Miss Susan, some guests are here to see you; Miss Black Cat is one of them." Sue tore off her nightgown, and quickly put on a white pullover blouse and a pair of jeans. She slipped her Reebok walking shoes on and laced them up quickly; Sue didn't have time for makeup, but she did stop briefly at her mirror to brush her hair. She then took the elevator down to ground level, and went to the front door to see her guests. When Sue opened the door, she found two women dressed in cats

Part 2: Stolen or Saved?
Warning: M/M, Light Tcest.
Characters(Main): Michelangelo, Raphael, Usagi, Leonardo.
Pairing: Usagi/Michelangelo, Leonardo/Michelangelo.
“Let me go!” Michelangelo shrieked as Leonardo carried him over his shoulder. Leo merely hummed, tuning out Mikey’s yelling and screaming. Donatello smirked as he counted the gold and money they had stolen. They passed any people as they walked along the path through the woods, but no one tried to stop them. Mikey closed his eyes as he wiped a few tears away, it didn’t not go unnoticed by Donnie.
“Perhaps we should rest of a while, brother,” Donnie offered as he put their gold and money back into his pocket. Leo turned and looked down at his little brother before nodding softly. Walking over to a nearby shade tree, Leo dropped Mikey down on his butt. Mikey hissed and pouted as he looked away from the much la
Five nights at freddys changeThe curtains start to role up and the kids cheer with excitement, waiting to see freddy’s band, but what they saw is not what they expected. Many of the kids screamed, a few cried, most ran to their parents and the parents themselves had looks of horror on their faces. Freddy stays silent, he had been broken also but not as much as the others were. The workers rushed towards the stage but stopped.

Fullmetal Kingdom ~ Chapter 107
Chapter 107: Opposite Armor Attacks
"Almost there…just a bit further Bradley and I'll take you and the rest of them to Hell." Isaac said as his Ice wall came further to Central HQ.
Isaac however failed to notice the approaching Elric Brothers; Edward surprised the Freezer with a kick to the back!
Isaac staggered to his feet and saw Edward standing before him! Then he noticed the younger brother, Alphonse jump behind Ed.
"Damn…DAMN…DAMN YOU, BRATS! Can't you take the hint and beat it!" Isaac asked. Ed replied, "Wait your turn pal, we'll beat it pretty soon. First we'll kick it, stomp it, shove it in Ice with the rest of the snow and THEN we'll beat it." Isaac gripped his fists and said, "This was the same…like when we met in East City. You were so cocky, and you beat me by luck. Your bodyguard was just like you, chasing after me, intending to arrest me, believing what only he could see with his own two eyes. The two of you NEVER saw why the act would justi
Arbok and Vanilla II (Vore)Arbok and Vanilla II (Vore)
NOTES: It’s been a whole year since I made something like this. I think it is, but anyway, here’s a sequel for Arbok and Vanilla. For those who randomly come across here, please note that this story contains vore. Negative comments are blocked without warning. Hope you guys enjoy.
We begin the story with a close-up shot of a piece of branch. A white paw steps on it and we’re in the forest as we go into a wide angle shot of the trail. We revealed that there is a white kitten with silver hair is exploring the area all alone. Eventually, he comes across a mansion not so far from here. We examine the front entrance of the place but the kitten approaches closer in front of it. He tilts his head to the side with a curious expression into his yellow eyes, and starts scratching the door to see if anyone is home...
The door opened... well, that was easy... too easy... but nobody is at the front door. Could it be a ghost that opened the door? The kit
Stranger: The VanquisherSlowly the masked woman slid against the wall silently to her target, eyes narrowed in concentration, shadows playing trick on her mask, making it seem either silly or evil. Her greasy pink hair hung in strands after days of not washing. This proxy had taken a while to hunt and the woman hadn't the time to wash, it bothered her, the target might have a higher sense of smell. Around the corner the sound of flesh tearing was heard and the quiet wail of a child. God this was going to be bad. Adjusting her grey turtle neck the woman then gripped her sword, slipping off the wooden blade revealing a glinting iron blade beneath. The holy blade glinted, insignia's of an ancient language carved into its blade.
“Paralysis.” The woman muttered, the blade glowed a faint purple “smooth.”
This time a shimmer added, she swallowed and spun around the corner. A small girl stood over her victim, from her back a large black demon loomed, its huge claws dripping crimson as it tore
Homecoming (G/t RP) It's that wonderful dance, the one no one really cares about and ends up going to wearing street shoes. Homecoming, this year's theme being Halloween. You had your date and you were super excited and everything, but the moment you came up to them to say hello, they broke it off. Something about "seeing other people". Ugh. You sit around for a while on the edges of the gym, then retreat to the bathrooms to wallow in self-pity. It's there that you find something, er, someone, odd... A tiny person, except you recognize them. It's...
A. Your date.
B. Someone you know has a crush on you.
C. Your own crush, who had decided not to come, dressed in their pajamas.
(please tell me your character's name, gender, and the gender of the other person)
Species Profile: ShortmenNatural Physical Appearance
Height and Build
Shortmen, as their name implies, are shorter than baseline humans. The average adult shortman is four feet in height. They are also very thin, as they have less body fat and muscle for their size than baseline humans. These modifications made for ease of movement around cramped ship and station corridors. Living in a zero gravity environment has further exacerbated these features - shortmen bones are very thin and brittle, and their musculature incapable of supporting their own weight in anything above microgravity. As a result, shortmen have to wear special suits in order to move around on a planetary surface.
The shortmen are famous for their large, bulbous heads which contain a brain about thirty percent larger than the average baseline human's. The notion that shortmen are more intelligent than baseline humans is true, to an extent. A shortman's brain is engineered to be very focused on analysis of mechanical and mathematical issu
Culture Profile: The Citizens' AllianceAstrography
The Citizens' Alliance ("Alliance") is a medium-sized interstellar federation clustered around the galactic south. The Alliance can count among its number approximately ten thousand member systems.
Natural Physical Appearance
Unique among the great powers, the Citizens' Alliance is exclusively human. The Alliance is xenophobic and exterminates or enslaves any non-human sapients in the territories it conquers; the latter are not counted in any census and are legally on the same level as non-sapient animals and animal-equivalents. However, the Alliance is accepting of different human species, and species as the proles, diggers and even shortmen, architects and managers are treated no differently than baseline humans. That being said, baseline humanity makes up 80% of the total population, and dominate the Alliance's politics.
Appearance traditions throughout the Alliance are diverse. The people of Unica, the most populous Alliance st
Flexilbleem's Aquarium SphereFlexilbleem's Aquarium Sphere
These are large glass spheres, created by the legendary wizard Flexilbleem the Fantastic. They are water (usually saltwater) aquariums full of fish and water plants. The aquarium spheres are enhanced with magic that continually aerates the water and provides nourishment to the fish and aquatic creatures inside. The interior is usually illuminated by glow crystals of various colors. The glass is strengthened with permanent force magic (a sphere shaped adaptation of wall of force spell). The aquariums rest on a stand made of stone, metal or wood or are part of a statue feature.
The aquarium spheres come in various large sizes: large (5 to 10 feet diameter), huge (15 to 20 feet diameter), gigantic (20 to 30 feet in diameter), and colossal (30 feet in diameter or more). They often feature colorful sand and pebbles, and water plants and an array of harmless fish. Sometimes there are features such as sunken ruins (brok
